Learn: Exploring One Family’s Legacy

Excellent resources exist for anyone who wants to learn more about the Adamses and for teachers who want to enrich the history or civics curriculum for grades K through 12.

The family’s letters, diaries, and personal papers have been carefully preserved, along with three historic residences, household furnishings, priceless portraits, and individuals’ personal libraries. All are accessible to the public, teachers, and scholars through historical sites and collections. In addition, many works authored by family members have been digitized and are available free of charge from Google Books.

The family’s achievements have also inspired many fine works of scholarship, literature, and popular media.
